Our oldest Client has always been very proactive in safety and at the request of the company’s elected Safety Representatives as a team together we designed an Advanced course providing these key players with skills in communication, presentation and accident investigation as well as providing a more in depth knowledge of the client’s values, culture and objectives.

This was extended two years ago to include those involved in the environmental challenge.

The ASR Course led to a demand for similar advanced training for Supervisors and Managers to meet the increased challenges that affect particular those personnel newly promoted to these positions. The Course focuses on both performance and safety with TGPL taking the lead role on the latter.

The course has been run for the last three years and is booked for a further two. Real commitment to their workforce is what we look for from our clients.

Many people are promoted based on their knowledge of the job, experience, delivery, budget management and unfortunately being in the right place at the right time. This unfortunately does not take into account heir personnel management or safety skills. Combining both of these crucial elements of business 1 to 1 provides a mixture of theory with real skills and proven tools that work in the industrial arena. TGPL do a lot of bespoke workshops, courses and processes in the arena of Human Behaviour, Human Error and Managing Change.

We were honoured and delighted that in this year the 20th anniversary of the Piper Alpha Disaster we were asked to go to the Piper Bravo and assist them with introducing their new Observational Safety system CARE.

Good systems, well introduced can help to prevent not just minor injuries but also major disasters such as that which befell the Alpha the site of which is just a few hundred yards away from the Bravo (her replacement).
